The NSW Government’s ongoing support of the Tourism and Events sector, including this week’s announcement of a $530 Million recovery package, will play a major role in the Accommodation sector getting back on its feet but return to full health will take time. With rolling announcements on international travel returning to normal, Australia’s hotels and accommodation providers are ramping up to welcome guests once again but there are challenges ahead and ongoing support from Federal and State Governments for the sector nationwide will be key.
Peak industry body, the Accommodation Association, is looking forward to receiving more details on the practicalities so that the industry can start preparing accordingly.
