New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel is presenting a range of dining options and staycation packages in celebration of Father’s Day on 20 June 2021. Fathers will be pampered in style with specially curated menus and comfortable guestrooms of the hotel, to be enjoyed with the whole family.

Café East

Café East’s dinner buffet features a variety of southeast Asian specialities, highlighting Singaporean, Malaysian and Thai cuisines. Refreshing cold dishes on the new menu include Rojak, Pie Tee and Thai Seafood Papaya Salad. Singapore Bakut Ten, Thai Tom Yum Kung Soup and Coconut Chicken Soup are also on offer.  Hot dishes added to the buffet include Laksa, Asam Fish, Thai-Style Baked Fish, Beef Rendang, Hainanese Chicken, Thai Pineapple Fried Rice.  The array allows guests to taste the vibes of these Southeast Asian countries despite being unable to travel to vacation hotspots this summer.

In addition to these mouthwatering dishes, Café East has also designed special items dedicated for Father’s Day. Guests will be delighted with Tuna Tartar with Caviar, popular Asian dishes such as Steamed Eel with Garlic Black Bean Sauce, Wok-Fried Thai-Style Fresh Green Pepper Jumbo Crab, Double-Boiled Monkey Head Mushroom with Sea Couch and Black Silkie Chicken Soup, and more.

Last but not least, guests can embellish their Father’s Day meal with desserts such as Double-Boiled Bird Nest with Crystal Sugar and Coconut Milk Pudding with Peach Resin.

The Father’s Day dinner buffet will be available on 19 and 20 June 2021 and is priced at HKD698 for adults and HKD468 for children.

Tao Li

Accompanying its spectacular view overlooking Victoria Harbour, Tao Li will offer a range of Father’s Day-themed dim sum, including Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Asparagus, Crab Coral and Gold Leaf; Baked Milk Custard Buns and Bird’s Nest; Steamed Barbecued Black Pork Buns with Abalone; and much more. Local flavours such as Marinated Pigeons with Chinese Wine, Deep-Fried Catfish and Braised Pork, Braised E-Fu Noodles with Fish Maw, Shrimps and Shredded Conpoy, as well as a variety of traditional Chinese desserts such as Steamed Red Bean Puddings and Sweetened Bean Curd are also served.

In addition, specially designed dinner menus featuring authentic Cantonese delicacies will be on offer. Father’s Day dinner sets for six and 12 guests are priced at HKD4,080 and HKD9,880 respectively. Available only on 20 June 2021.

Sagano

Sagano’s Japanese Head Chef Noka Masahiko nicely crafts a seven-course Father’s Day Kaiseki dinner, priced at HKD1,400 per person, for all fathers who fancy Japanese fare on 20 June 2021.  The set offers authentic Japanese specialities ranging from Fresh Bean Curd Skin with Sea Urchin and Grilled Manganji Peppers with Slightly Grilled Conch as appetisers, followed by Fatty Tuna, Striped Jack and Botan Shrimp Sashimi, Japanese-Style Steamed Egg Custard with Abalone and Prawn, Grilled Wagyu and Kamo Eggplants with Miso Paste. Included too are Zuwai Crabmeat and Taraba Crabmeat Cutlet, Assorted Seafood on Sushi Rice, as well as seasonal fruits as dessert.

All prices are subject to a 10% service charge. Members of Epicure, the hotel’s dining membership programme, can enjoy an exclusive 25% discount. Staycation packages

Alongside the kaleidoscope of dining experiences, the hotel recommends two staycation packages for an unforgettable Father’s Day to remember:  the Spring Escape and the Dining Credits On Us packages.

Spring Escape

Being extended due to popular demand, the Spring Escape package enables dads to enjoy a joyous break with the family. Guests can book any category room at a starting rate of HKD1,480 to enjoy a daily buffet breakfast at Café East and a choice of a set lunch (Chinese, French or Western) or dinner (Japanese, French or Western) for two persons. Guests can also enjoy 20% food and beverage discount during their stay (25% discount for guests who sign up to become Epicure dining club members upon arrival). Other package extras include complimentary pay movies, early check-in and late check-out. Available from now to 29 June 2021.

Dining Credits On Us

The Dining Credits On Us package provides an opportunity for fathers and their families to be rewarded with food and beverage credits equivalent to the guestroom rate. Guests can book any room at a starting rate of HKD1,600 and enjoy food and beverage credit at any of the hotel’s restaurants, including towards all of the special Father’s Day special menus.  Other package extras include complimentary pay movies as well as complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks from the mini bar. Available from now to 31 August 2021.
