Love was clearly in the air as Fairmont Resort & Spa Blue Mountains was named winner of the Spa Category and Highly Commended as a Wedding Venue Resort in the annual Australian Wedding Awards, announced last week.
This was the second year in a row that Fairmont’s Ubika Day Spa has taken out the award for Best Spa in the Australian Wedding Awards.
The awards are well timed as Fairmont Resort will play host to the Blue Mountains Love Wedding Fair held on Sunday 20th February 2022, 10am to 3pm.
There will be more than 40 local exhibitors who will showcase some of the region’s best wedding services.
Fairmont Resort & Spa is looking forward to a blooming wedding season over autumn and the rest of the year as ‘normality’ returns to the events and wedding scene.
The Fairmont will use the Blue Mountains Love Wedding Fair to feature its indoor and outdoor wedding spaces for Elopements, Weddings and Ceremonies. There will be wedding site inspections throughout the day, and Ubika Day Spa will present their ‘social spa-ing’ solutions for hen’s parties, mum and daughter retreats, and pre-wedding pampering.
Fairmont Resort & Spa Blue Mountains General Manager, Ben Mellor, said the awards couldn’t have come at a better time as the Blue Mountains relaunches itself as one of Australia’s most attractive destinations for weddings, celebrations, and events.
“We offer a complete solution for couples, their families and their friends to ensure a perfect wedding, and the region’s key suppliers will be on-site during the Blue Mountains Love Wedding Fair to provide inspirational ideas for a Mountains’ wedding,” said Mr Mellor.
“After so many weddings were postponed in the previous two years there has been a dramatic increase in enquiries for weddings and other celebrations, and we’re gearing up for a welcome revival in 2022.”
