Australian and New Zealand travel agents and tourism professionals are invited to join the Linkd Tourism team on a journey through Gifu Prefecture.  The adventure will be hosted by Linkd Tourism General Manager and Gifu Prefecture Account Manager Michael Cassis on Thursday June 17 at 9AM AWST / 11AM AEST / 1PM NZST.  As a destination overflowing with timeless traditions, cultural and culinary delights, and awe-inspiring natural wonders, Gifu Prefecture is sure to be on the top of most Japan travellers bucket lists for when borders re-open.

Gifu Prefecture:  Exploring the Nakasendo Highway; Relaxing at the Okuhida Hot Springs, Seki Blade Craftsman.

The webinar will take agents on a journey through some of the most popular experiences on offer across the region including the UNESCO heritage listed township of Shirakawa-go; the picturesque regional city of Takayama; and the historic hiking and cycling trail of the Nakasendo Highway – all offered as tour and independent travel options via New Zealand and Australian based wholesalers and tour operators.

Additionally, the webinar will also showcase some of Gifu’s world-renowned craftsmanship, including locations where travellers can experience these for themselves, as well as the many natural wonders to explore around the Prefecture including the Northern Japan Alps, Onsen villages, and spectacular waterfall laden hiking trails.
