Hilton today announced the signing of Hilton Garden Inn Busselton, marking the fourth Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Australasia. In partnership with Pacifica Ausglobal Busselton Pty Ltd, Hilton will manage the newly built 112-room property.

“We are delighted to partner with Pacifica Ausglobal Busselton Pty Ltd to bring our award-winning focused service brand Hilton Garden Inn to Busselton, Western Australia,” said Guy Phillips, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia and Australasia, Hilton.

“We are deeply committed to the West Australian market and when open, Hilton Garden Inn Busselton will mark our fifth hotel in the state. This signing highlights our strategy of positioning the right brands in the right locations, at the right time.”

Hilton Garden Inn Busselton joins Parmelia Hilton Perth and DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge, alongside the forthcoming DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront and Hilton Garden Inn Albany. The hotel will be built in the centre of Busselton’s 38-hectare commercial, cultural and public space foreshore precinct, taking advantage of the City of Busselton’s strategic investment in the area including a new Entertainment, Arts and Culture Hub. The hotel will complement the increase in domestic and international airport traffic expected from upgrades to Busselton Margaret River Airport currently underway.

“The expansion of tourism infrastructure in Busselton will pave the way for savvy new travellers to the city to experience Hilton Garden Inn’s renowned hospitality,” said Jenny Milos, Vice President, Focused Service & All Suites Brand Management, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

“Hilton Garden Inn welcomes guests with its sunny approach to guest service at 30 hotels in Asia Pacific, and with more than 85 hotels in the pipeline in the region our goal is to make every guests’ stay better and brighter. We look forward to bringing Hilton Garden Inn’s brand of hospitality to the city of Busselton.”

Busselton is a thriving city of 36,000 people located 220 kilometres south of Perth, and is a popular tourist destination and gateway to the famous Margaret River wine region. Busselton is home to one of the state’s most visited tourist attractions the Busselton Jetty, the longest timber pier jetty in the southern hemisphere. Hilton Garden Inn Busselton is located 9 kilometres from Busselton Margaret River Airport.

Hilton Garden Inn Busselton has been designed to maximize its expansive views of the ocean across Geographe Bay and Busselton Jetty.  It will include an all-day dining restaurant serving Hilton Garden Inn’s signature cooked-to-order breakfast, a bar serving shareable small plates and handcrafted cocktails and craft beers, a fitness centre, 242sqm of flexible meeting space, and onsite parking for 60 vehicles.

John Zendler, director, Pacifica Ausglobal Busselton Pty Ltd, said, “This is another important milestone in our strategic partnership with Hilton to deliver quality hotels to regional Western Australia. We enjoy a strong relationship with Hilton and look forward to delivering this project together.”

Hilton Garden Inn Busselton will join 27 operating and 14 pipeline Hilton properties throughout Australasia.
