Voting is now open for the 2019 RAA Voters’ Choice Tourism Award, recognising a high level of service excellence provided by two South Australian Tourism Awards finalists.

This year an accommodation provider with the highest number of votes, as well as an experience or service provider will be awarded.

In 2018 BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park (accommodation) and Calypso Star Charters (experience or service) took home the honour, acknowledging their commitment to delivering exceptional customer service as voted by their visitors.

Tourism Industry Council South Australia (TiCSA) Chief Executive Officer, Shaun de Bruyn said the organisation is excited to be once again partnering with RAA to deliver this fantastic award.

“Since its inception in 2017, the RAA Voters’ Choice Tourism Award has received over 20,000 consumer votes,” said Mr de Bruyn.

“It’s great to be able to provide an opportunity for the public to have their say based on their experiences and reward two outstanding tourism businesses.”

RAA General Manager Travel, Gina Norman said the organisation was delighted with the popularity of the award and is keen to continue its partnership with TiCSA.

“RAA knows South Australia, so we know the great people of South Australia are some of the most discerning judges of customer service when it comes to home-grown tourism,” said Ms Norman.

“Our state is very fortunate to have world-class tourism experiences and accommodation to match, so RAA can’t wait to see this year’s winners.”

Voters will automatically go in the running to win one of three RAA travel prizes thanks to Monarto Zoo, The Lane Vineyard, Rawnsley Park Station, SeaLink Kangaroo Island andMercure Kangaroo Island Lodge.

Voting closes on Monday, 7 October 2019.

The winners of the RAA Voters’ Choice Tourism Awards will be revealed at the 2019 South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner on Friday, 8 November 2019 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Tickets are on sale now.
