After being held for the first time in 2012, the Almaty Marathon celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s award-winning airline, is offering discounted fares for participants and spectators to the race on 26th September 2021 in the metropolis in the south of Kazakhstan.
For bookings on the Air Astana website, the airline offers a of 15 percent discount on all available international and domestic fares in Business Class and Economy Class. The only condition: The flight to Almaty must take place between 23 and 26 September 2021, and the return flight between 26 and 28 September 2021. The route of the Almaty Marathon 2021 runs past some particularly distinctive places in the country’s biggest city, such as the First President’s Park, the Financial District and the Central Stadium. In addition to the classic marathon, a team race over the full marathon distance, a half marathon, a 10-kilometre race and a Nordic walking competition will also be held on 26th September 2021. The proceeds from the entry fees (starting from US$16 per person) will go to charity.
