The stage is set for Canada’s largest city, Toronto, to host Rendez-vous Canada (RVC), the leading international tourism marketplace for Destination Canada.

From 28 – 31 May, more than 1500 travel industry professionals will network and make vital connections with members of the Canadian tourism industry, whose operations form the backbone of Canada’s visitor economy.

RVC 2018 achieved record attendance in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with 1,875 delegates participating, and this year is expected to be even bigger. Over four days, tourism industry leaders collaborate one-on-one during efficient, pre-scheduled appointments at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

RVC is a powerful magnet for international tour operators and wholesalers who seek out the innovative and authentic tourism products, services and packages that may give them a competitive edge.

Trade media will participate in famils taking place in various parts of the country, offering the chance to gain first-hand experience of Canada’s unique wildlife, diverse communities and outdoor adventures.

As Canada’s most multicultural city, with a larger-than-life personality, Toronto will provide exciting day-famils for delegates to explore the city’s eclectic neighbourhoods, including historic culinary tours, art and design walking tours, shopping expeditions, and visits to some of Canada’s hottest tourist attractions, such as Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada and EdgeWalk at the CN Tower.
