The triumphant signing ceremonies, graced by distinguished personalities, herald the arrival of two new esteemed brands – Ritz-Carlton Reserve and The Luxury Collection – on the idyllic Hon Thom Island in Phu Quoc. Furthermore, Marriott proudly announces the forthcoming debut of Vietnam’s third JW Marriott Hotel, set amidst the serene UNESCO World Heritage site of Trang An in northern Vietnam.

The historic agreements were solemnized by none other than Marriott International’s President and CEO, Mr. Anthony Capuano, during his recent diplomatic mission to Vietnam. Joining him on this momentous occasion were Mr. Rajeev Menon, President for Asia Pacific (excluding China) of Marriott International, and Mr. Jakob Helgen, Area Vice President for Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The solemn proceedings were honoured by Chairman Vu Quang Hoi from BITEXCO Group and Chairman Dang Minh Truong from Sun Group, adding gravitas to the momentous occasion.

Scheduled to welcome guests in 2028, JW Marriott Trang An Resort & Spa is a testament to luxury in harmony with nature. This exquisite retreat, crafted by BITEXCO Group, the proud owners of JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, is nestled amidst verdant hills and lush wetlands. The resort’s blueprint encompasses 150 lavish rooms and suites, along with 35 one- and two-bedroom villas, some featuring private pools for an elevated experience. This luxury haven, gracing the northwest coast of Hon Thom Island, is poised to offer 305 lavish rooms and suites, ranging from 50 to 250 square meters, with family-friendly accommodations. The resort’s highlights encompass two exquisite pool areas, a dedicated kids’ club, an engaging activity centre, a well-equipped fitness centre, and an indulgent spa boasting seven sumptuous treatment rooms, complete with whirlpools, saunas, and steam rooms. An array of six exquisite restaurants and bars promises diverse dining experiences. The resort further distinguishes itself with a sprawling 1,690 square meters of flexible event space, featuring a grand 900-square meter ballroom and three intimate function rooms.
