G Adventures has officially announced the return of its highly anticipated agent reward program, Change Makers, inviting travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand to turn everyday client bookings into life-changing experiences around the globe.
This year, 15 top-performing Australian and Kiwi agents will secure a spot at G Adventures’ fifth annual global GX Summit, taking place in Brazil in September 2027. Winners will join a select contingent of more than 75 standout advisors from around the world to celebrate the transformative power of community tourism firsthand.
Built on the core principle of changing lives through travel, Change Makers rewards advisors for booking G Adventures trips giving them direct insight into how their everyday business empowers local host communities and drives sustainable tourism development.
Securing a spot at GX Brazil
Starting today, agents earn one automatic entry for every traveller booked (one entry per “life changed”) on a G Adventures itinerary during the qualification window.
The incentive structure includes:

Regional top performers: The top 12 Australian and New Zealand advisors based on total passenger count automatically win a spot.

Wildcard entries: Three wildcard spaces are reserved for Aussie and Kiwi agents who commit to changing at least one life (making a minimum of one booking) and complete specific monthly challenges.
Wildcard opportunities for this year include completing specialised G-learning training modules, participating in fundraising initiatives for G Adventures’ non-profit partner, Planeterra, and incentive boosts for first-time bookers.
The Change Makers campaign operates alongside G Adventures’ existing suite of advisor support tools, including the “15 to Anywhere” incentive (which rewards agents with a free trip up to $3,000 in value for every 15 G trips booked) and global FAM opportunities, creating a comprehensive support system designed to help trade partners scale their business.
Experiencing community tourism in action
The Change Makers program is designed to give advisors a front-row seat to the tangible social impact driven by their bookings.
The launch follows the resounding success of the recent GX Summit in Cambodia, where 75 global Change Makers joined over 600 travellers, media, and industry partners from around the world. Attendees explored the iconic halls of Angkor Wat, navigated the floating villages of Tonlé Sap, and saw community tourism in action through Planeterra-supported social enterprises like Spoons restaurant and the Lady Tuk Tuk Drivers association. The milestone event culminated in true G style: a celebration at Bayon Temple, illuminated entirely in G’s signature purple.
Building on that momentum, the upcoming 2027 GX Summit in Brazil promises an equally transformative dive into South American culture and local impact. From vibrant landscapes to social enterprise projects backed by Planeterra, winning advisors will see first-hand how community tourism drives long-term local resilience.
