Series by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of over 30 extraordinary hotel brands, announces the opening of three hotels in South Korea: UH Seoul Insadong, Series by Marriott; Anook Signature Incheon Guwol, Series by Marriott; and Anook Signature Busan Haeundae, Series by Marriott. Together, the hotels add 273 rooms, bringing the brand’s portfolio in the country to four hotels and 377 rooms, following its country debut with Anook Signature Seoul Guro, Series by Marriott. Series by Marriott brings together established, regionally recognized hotel brands, preserving their local identity while connecting guests to Marriott Bonvoy. The three new hotels reflect this approach through distinct design and guest experiences, with a focus on comfortable stays and well-executed fundamentals.

“These three openings give travelers more choice in how they experience South Korea, from the cultural neighborhoods of Seoul to Incheon’s business district and Busan’s coast,” said Duke Nam, Regional Vice President, South Korea, Vietnam and Philippines, Marriott International. “Each hotel retains its own identity while offering the comfort, quality and care guests expect from Marriott. This is what Series by Marriott brings to travelers: locally rooted stays, backed by the global reach and benefits of Marriott.”

UH Seoul Insadong, Series by Marriott: A Contemporary Take on Korean Design

The brand’s first hotel in Incheon, Anook Signature Incheon Guwol, Series by Marriott is located in Guwol-dong, the city’s commercial and administrative center. Close to Incheon City Hall, major government offices and Lotte Department Store Incheon, it is well suited to business and shopping trips. Arts Center Station on Incheon Subway Line 1 is approximately a three-minute walk away, while nearby Incheon Bus Terminal connects guests to other regions. Guwol-dong Rodeo Street offers restaurants, cafés and cultural spaces, with Incheon Central Park also nearby.

Designed around the idea of letting go and recharging, the hotel combines restful interiors with personalized experiences that let guests unwind in their own way. Its 118 guestrooms span nine room types, accommodating different travel needs and group sizes. Beyond private in-room bathtubs, guests can enjoy a large communal bathhouse and Finnish sauna on the first basement level, open until 2 a.m., with complimentary ice cream available afterward. The Grain serves breakfast and late-night meals, while a self-service laundry room adds convenience for longer stays.

Anook Signature Busan Haeundae, Series by Marriott: A Ryokan-Inspired Retreat

Anook Signature Busan Haeundae, Series by Marriott is located in Haeundae, one of Busan’s best-known coastal destinations. Within walking distance of Haeundae Beach and major attractions, and close to subway connections across the city, the hotel offers a convenient base for leisure and business travelers.

The hotel’s “Recovery Ritual” combines hot-water bathing, nourishing cuisine and restful sleep, drawing on Eastern wellness traditions. Select guestrooms and public spaces take their design cues from Japanese ryokan, creating an understated setting for a coastal stay. The hotel offers 104 guestrooms across 16 room types, and select rooms feature private bathtubs for guests to unwind in their own space. Guests can also unwind in the hotel’s sauna. The Grain restaurant serves a breakfast buffet each morning, while complimentary noodles are offered each evening as a signature late-night snack.

All three hotels participate in Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program, where members can earn points on eligible stays and redeem them for stays and experiences across Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of hotel brands.
