Organised by TTG Asia, the annual TTG Travel Awards recognise outstanding organisations and individuals across Asia-Pacific’s travel and tourism industry. Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore’s win was determined through votes from TTG Asia readers, including travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from TTG Asia, particularly as it reflects the confidence of travel industry professionals across the region. This award is a testament to the dedication of our entire team, who work tirelessly to create seamless and memorable experiences for every event we host. We are grateful to our industry partners and guests for their continued trust and support,” said Andrew Tan, General Manager, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore.

A Leading Destination for Meetings and Events in Singapore

Set along the Singapore River, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore offers 33 function rooms spanning 6,200 sqm, catering to occasions ranging from intimate business meetings and corporate gatherings to weddings, conventions and large-scale conferences.

At the heart of its event offering is the 850 sqm pillarless Grand Ballroom, complemented by a diverse collection of flexible meeting and function spaces. Across its venues, the hotel can accommodate gatherings ranging from 15 guests to large-scale events of up to 1,100 guests, depending on the venue and seating configuration.

The hotel’s event spaces are supported by state-of-the-art meeting aids and audiovisual facilities, with capabilities for in-person, hybrid and virtual events. Together with a dedicated events team, these facilities enable organisers to tailor each experience to suit the scale, format and individual requirements of their event.

Beyond its physical spaces, the hotel takes a personalised approach to meetings and events, working closely with organisers from planning through execution to create seamless and memorable experiences.

“Today’s event organisers are looking for more than just a venue – they want flexibility, thoughtful service and immersive experiences that can be tailored to their objectives. With our diverse event spaces, advanced facilities and experienced team, we are able to support everything from intimate meetings to large-scale conferences, events and celebrations. Our dedicated Meeting Concierge further enhances this experience by providing organisers with a single point of contact from pre-event to post-event coordination, ensuring a seamless experience at every stage. This recognition motivates us to continue evolving our MICE offerings and setting new benchmarks for meetings and events in Singapore,” added Andrew Tan.

In addition to its latest TTG Travel Awards recognition, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore was also awarded the ASEAN MICE Venue Award 2026 in the Meeting Room Category in February. The hotel was one of only two hotels in Singapore to receive the award, and one of three Singapore representatives overall, further strengthening its credentials as a MICE destination.

Further supporting its MICE offerings, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR), launched its global campaign “Where Business Connects” earlier this year, bringing together enhanced benefits for meeting and event organisers across participating MHR properties worldwide.

Under the campaign, MyMillennium members who book qualifying MICE events directly with participating properties between 15 June 2026 and 14 June 2027 can earn 3X Bonus MyPoints on qualifying event spend, equivalent to 12 MyPoints for every US$1. Organisers who specifically book their event at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel will enjoy additional event benefits, subject to applicable terms and availability. These include complimentary breakout or secretariat rooms, delegate room drops, coffee break menu upgrades and 1 complimentary room night for every 20 room nights booked, capped at 3 rooms. Together, these accolades and initiatives reflect Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore and MHR’s continued commitment to delivering flexible, rewarding and well-supported experiences for event organisers and delegates.

Championing Sustainable Hospitality

Sustainability is also an integral part of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel’s approach to hospitality and events. The hotel is GOLD certified for Venue and F&B under the Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification by SACEOS and was recently recognised as Best Sustainability Initiative (Hotel) during the M&C Asia Stella Awards 2026 last month, further reinforcing its commitment to more responsible meetings and hospitality.

Across its guest rooms, meeting spaces and dining facilities, the hotel has implemented a range of initiatives including recyclable and sustainably sourced stationery, sustainable menu options, the reduction of single-use plastics, and smart room controls and thermostats designed to optimise energy use. Filtered drinking water systems are also available across all guest rooms, helping to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles.

Additional initiatives include electric vehicle charging stations in the hotel’s basement car park and a focus on locally and sustainably sourced produce, including responsibly sourced ingredients for its restaurants Food Capital and SanSara’s seafood offerings.

With this latest recognition, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore continues to strengthen its position as a leading destination for meetings and events in Singapore, bringing together flexible spaces, advanced technology, personalised service and responsible hospitality under one roof.
