Australian travellers eyeing Manila have exactly 24 hours to pounce, with Philippine Airlines (PAL) launching a sharp 50 per cent discount for eligible flights from Melbourne and Perth on Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it promotion runs from 12:00 am until 11:59 pm on 30 September, using promo code PERMEL50OFF. Travel is available from 5 October to 24 December 2026, placing the deal neatly across the spring and pre-Christmas travel period.
And with a discount of that size, travellers may want to have passports, calendars and credit cards lined up before breakfast.
The promotion comes as PAL continues strengthening its Australian operation. The Philippine flag carrier recently confirmed that its Melbourne-Manila service will increase from five flights weekly to daily services from 19 November 2026. PAL also currently operates three weekly Perth services, alongside daily links from Sydney and Brisbane.
For travel advisors, the short sale window makes this very much a “phone your clients now” proposition. Manila remains an important gateway not only to the Philippines but to PAL’s wider Asian and international network.
