Melco Resorts & Entertainment continues to cooperate with the Macau SAR Government to promote tourism and local economic development and is committed to helping local SMEs attract customers to help boost business opportunities. The Company fully supports the SAR government in implementing the extended second phase of the Tourism and “Leisure” Buses program, extending the service period to January 3, 2027. During the peak summer tourist season between July 17 and August 30, 2026, the service days will be extended from the original two weekend days to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Services will also be added for the National Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Day holidays to enable more tourists to explore Macau’s different communities, experience the city’s unique culture and charm, and further leverage the concerted effect of tourism in driving community consumption.
Melco will continue to offer six bus routes across its properties City of Dreams and Studio City, to guide tourists to Macau’s various distinctive communities, allowing them to experience the local culture, discover unique shops, and savor its diverse cuisine to highlight its status as a “Creative City of Gastronomy”. By extending visitors’ travel footprint in Macau and encouraging them to engage in community spending, the program aims to generate more business opportunities for local SMEs.
To further support community SMEs, Melco has also partnered with over 30 local businesses along the routes to launch exclusive deals and privileges, including offers on diverse experiences in dining, retail, and the cultural and creative industries, encouraging traveler visitation and boosting local consumption. The merchants’ offers will also be showcased on the City of Dreams and Studio City websites, making it easier for travelers to plan their trips and to enjoy a more fruitful community tourism experience.
