Continuing to bolster its leadership team, voco Gosford is pleased to announce three new appointments – Rebecca Wheeler as Director of Sales & Marketing, Primrose Raffaelli as Marketing Manager and Megan Rowe as HR Manager.
All proud Central Coast locals, the new leadership team is committed to building on the momentum generated since voco Gosford’s launch late last year, as the hotel cements itself as the region’s leading lifestyle destination.
As a seasoned marketing leader, Rebecca brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience across local and international brands along with a strong track record leading high-performing teams to deliver sustained commercial outcomes.
Her new position marks a return to IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she previously worked across a range of brands and hotel segments including Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific. Most recently she was Director of Sales & Marketing at View Sydney in North Sydney, following a successful period as Director of Sales & Marketing at Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the voco Gosford team and have hit the ground running as we focus on building on the strong momentum set by the pre-opening team. There’s a real sense of community around the hotel and a shared desire to see it continue to thrive, which is something I’m genuinely looking forward to being part of,” she said.
Joining Rebecca in the new-look marketing team is Primrose Raffaelli as Marketing Manager, who boasts more than a decade of marketing experience, including extensive work with global hotel metasearch platforms.
A Central Coast local with a strong understanding of the regional market and consumer behaviours, she’s built a diverse career across both the not-for-profit and hospitality sectors including HotelsCombined, Australian Red Cross and Pacific Magazines.
Recognised for delivering high-impact campaigns that drive brand awareness, demand and engagement, she has extensive experience working closely with sales teams to support revenue growth and strengthen overall brand performance.
In addition, Megan Rowe joins the team as HR Manager, having built extensive experience across people, culture and HR leadership roles in a range of industries. including positions with the NSW Government, Central Coast Council, Woolworths, as well as leading her own Central Coast-based HR consultancy, Coast HR Solutions. Known for fostering positive workplace environments, Megan’s expertise spans employee engagement, leadership support, workplace compliance, team development and more.
In her new role, Megan will support the continued growth of voco Gosford’s people and culture strategy as the hotel establishes itself further within the Central Coast community, with a focus on employee wellbeing, operational excellence and building upon its high-performing workplace environment.
