With less than 20 days to go until Whistler Blackcomb’s planned opening for the 2025/26 ski and ride season, Mother Nature has gifted North America’s largest mountain resort with nearly 1.5 metres of the fluffy white stuff, providing a solid base ahead of opening.

Whistler Blackcomb’s target opening date is 21 November 2025, kicking off a season of milestone anniversaries, including Whistler Mountain’s 60th, Blackcomb Mountain’s 45th, Whistler Heli-Skiing 45th and the World Ski & Snowboard Festival’s 30th anniversaries all this season.

New this season is the launch of Wonder Routes, a curated network of trails, waypoints, and stops designed to help skiers and boarders discover all the wonders of Whistler Blackcomb. Retrace the steps of Olympians past on the Gold Medal Route or eat and drink your way across the mountain on the Après Route! Up to seven different routes will uncover hidden gems and iconic landmarks, starting the journey at the first step to then follow a colour-coded sequence with turn-by-turn directions outlined on the new Wonder Routes Map.
