This isn’t just another key-turning ceremony. It’s TFE Hotels’ long-awaited UK debut, and they’re doing it in style inside the historic Hobson House on St Andrew’s Street, a former police station that once kept Cambridge’s more spirited scholars in line. Nowadays, it’s trading cells for studios, truncheons for turndown service, and fines for a very civilised £99 per night.

Bookings are open now, and the early-bird rate includes a complimentary drink on arrival, a small but welcome nod to Adina’s famously warm Australian hospitality. If there’s one thing Aussies know, it’s how to say “cheers” properly.

Outside, Cambridge looks like a postcard someone forgot to update since 1780. Punts glide along the River Cam, scholars shuffle between lectures, and visitors discover the joy of losing themselves in streets with names like Trinity Lane and Jesus Green.
