To celebrate the season of gratitude, Emirates will be offering Thanksgiving food, drinks and entertainment on flights to and from Dubai and USA, between the 23-30 of November. Traditional festive fare will also be served in the lounges of Dubai, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Inflight Delights for Thanksgiving
For breakfast in First, Business and Premium Economy Class, awaken to the aroma of cinnamon pancakes served with seasonal apple and cranberry compote, and a dollop of pumpkin cream. Combined with complimentary blueberry muffins and aromatic cinnamon rolls – it’s a scrumptious Thanksgiving breakfast.
On flights from Dubai to USA, First Class customers can savour creamy celeriac and pear soup with leek julienne, followed by appetisers of smoked salmon with chives, cucumber, pea shoots and horseradish sauce. A succulent main course of Thanksgiving turkey leg roulade follows, with roasted butternut, mashed potatoes with carrot, buttered brussels sprouts, roasted pecans, a dash of cranberry jus lié and classic cornbread. For dessert, First Class customers can sample the seasonal flavours of warm apple fritters with mascarpone cream and cinnamon sugar, or zingy key lime tart accented with raspberry coulis. On USA flights to Dubai, the soup will be a nourishing sweet potato with poached lobster and chives, or customers can choose a seafood platter appetiser with poached prawn, smoked salmon, crab cocktail and salmon gravadlax, served with caviar, horseradish and wakame. The main course will feature lemon, zaatar and buttermilk roasted turkey with celeriac apple purée, maple-roasted caraway pumpkin and beetroot, kale with cranberries, pecan and cornbread stuffing. Dessert will be hot toffee apple and pecan cake doused with salted caramel sauce and marshmallows, or chocolate marble cheesecake served with berry compote and vanilla curd.
In Business Class from Dubai to USA, the soup is followed by salmon gravadlax with ginger and candied orange, carrot coulis, blackberries and Beluga caviar, caper berries, red sorrel and baby spinach, with a main course of tender sliced turkey, cranberry jus lié, roasted butternut, mashed potatoes with carrot, buttered brussels sprouts, herbed butter, roasted pecans and cornbread. Premium Economy customers can relish a classic prawn cocktail, followed by a festive salad of grilled artichoke antipasti, butternut squash, broad beans and kale, with sunflower seeds and dried cranberries. Premium Economy Class customers can then feast on tender sliced turkey with all the trimmings, and relish a dessert of key lime tart dashed with Chantilly cream and raspberry, followed by an Emirates pumpkin spiced biscotti. From the USA to Dubai, the Premium Economy main course will be buttermilk and herb roasted turkey with all the trimmings, with a dessert of berry cheesecake. Economy Class customers can savour a sticky toffee pudding.
In Economy Class from Dubai to USA, customers will enjoy a Waldorf Salad with vegan mayonnaise to start, followed by a festive roasted chicken with cranberry jus, chestnut roulade with turkey bacon, maple baked parsnips, carrot mash, peas and potato wedges. Dessert will feature all the flavours of Thanksgiving with pumpkin, apple and cheese mousse, served with cinnamon cream and ginger biscuit crumbles, followed by an Emirates pumpkin spiced cookie.
On the Emirates A380 flights from Dubai to Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington DC, customers can also have a Thanksgiving sweet treat in the onboard lounge – pecan cupcakes with luscious cream cheese frosting, and sweet treats washed down with a selection of premium whiskeys, cocktails, wine, and champagne.
Thanksgiving Celebrations in Emirates Lounges
Between the 23-30 November, Thanksgiving can also be enjoyed at the Emirates Lounges in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Travellers will be invited to experience authentic Thanksgiving dishes of roasted turkey with apple sage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes and fall squash pumpkin, with cheesecake mousse for dessert. Emirates lounges in Dubai will be offering travellers savoury pumpkin tarts, roasted turkey breast with cranberry sauce, irresistible stuffing, glazed chestnuts, new potatoes with rosemary and paprika, roasted root vegetables with brussels sprouts, and dedicated festive cocktails.

Enhancing the Thanksgiving mood, customers can settle in to watch the top NFL and NBA games on Sport24 and Sport24 Extra and see the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and more in action, over the Thanksgiving period.
