Melco supports cultural exchange between 1In its ongoing commitment to promoting cultural exchange and artistic talent development in the community, Melco Resorts & Entertainment proudly sponsors the “Beijing-Macao Universities Art Exchange and Aesthetic Education Immersion Activities” initiative. Guided by the Education and Youth Development Bureau and co-organized by the Macau Youth Development Service Centre and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the program is supported by the Music Education Institute and the International Affairs Office of Central Conservatory of Music.

Between October 31 and November 3, a delegation of 51 students and teaching staff from the Central Conservatory of Music visited Macau to engage with local universities, primary and secondary schools, and the community through activities including teaching practice, seminars, and musical performances. To offer the delegation a more in-depth understanding of Macau and its community, Melco organized for the group to visit the Family and Integrated Community Service Centre of Seac Pai Van of the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macao (UGAMM). Hosted in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to the motherland, the event saw the delegation perform nationalistic songs and share singing skills and tips, while UGAMM’s local elderlies also presented impressive guitar and singing performances.
