According to Wine Tasmania, the island experienced a 36% increase in grape processing during the 2024 season, with sparkling wine grapes seeing an 11% rise in price per tonne. This growth underscores Tasmania’s standing as a powerhouse in the global sparkling wine scene.

The festival starts with the Effervescence Gala Dinner, a black-tie affair at the hatted Josef Chromy Restaurant. Here, guests will dine on a meticulously crafted menu, perfectly paired with the finest sparkling wines across Tasmania.
