SB Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites has launched a new gastronomic experience for guests in Mendoza, Argentina. Curated by the luxury boutique hotel’s co-founder Ana Lovaglio Balbo and head chef, Flavia Amad, this new experience promises an immersive journey into the region’s culinary scene complemented by the region’s top wines, including those from the country’s first female enologist and SB Winemaker’s House co-founder, Susana Balbo. Meals at local restaurants, tours of Mendoza suppliers and farms, visits to local markets, cooking classes, a 14-course chef table dinner, aged and vintage wine tastings, and accommodations at the wine and wellness focused boutique hotel are on tap.

Providing a fresh and authentic perspective of Mendoza, each culinary experience included has been meticulously selected for a diverse experience. From hidden gems and local hotspots to MICHELIN-starred restaurants and world-renowned chefs, dining spots showcase the best of the destination. In addition to exploring various restaurants, the experience includes visits to select local suppliers and markets who provide high-quality products to the hotel’s MICHELIN recommended restaurant, La VidA.

Additional stops include a nursery that supplies local sprouts and flowers for Chef Flavia’s cuisine, olive oil mills, and local cheese makers. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the producers behind the ingredients used in SB Winemaker’s House and Spa Suites’ culinary experiences, gaining appreciation for the direct connection between the source and the table. Back at the hotel, guests will participate in a cooking class using fresh ingredients from the producers visited on their tour. To cap off the experience, guests will enjoy a 14-course dinner at the hotel’s MICHELIN recommended restaurant, La VidA, featuring pairings from Susana Balbo’s premium vintage and signature wines.
