The Amamoor Creek State Forest witnessed a bigger-than-usual land grab over the weekend as Gympie Music Muster fans staked their claims in The One and Only Rope Off.
With four-day ticket sales also ahead of last year’s numbers at this point, Rope Off numbers also increased, with more than 1500 sites roped off over the weekend.
More Muster-goers are expected to roll in and claim their spots over the next three weeks with the pre-Muster activities starting on August 17 and the festival officially kicking off on August 22.
Keeping campers rolling into the sites smoothly were Muster and Blaze Aid volunteers, with social media full of praise for the way the large crowds were handled and how well the process ran this year.
Keen Musterers and volunteers braved the chilly start to the day to secure their spots and the oft-debated phone service issues were nowhere to be heard, with customers of the major telcos having clear communications.
Four-day tickets are running out the door, and remember we sold out on the first day of Muster in 2023, so get in now to avoid disappointment, because no one enjoys FOMO (fear of missing out)… but remember, if you can only get to the Muster for one or two days, we still have day tickets available.
Artists appearing at the 2024 Gympie Music Muster include (in alphabetical order) 19Twenty, Beccy Cole, Brad Cox, Casey Barnes, Davisson Brothers, Dragon, Graeme Connors James Johnston, Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, Lee Kernaghan, and Richard Clapton.
