The debut menu boasts eight cocktails, each a vibrant ode to Italy’s authentic flavours. Familiar ingredients like tomatoes, lemons, grapes, and coffee are artfully reimagined, transporting guests on a delightful journey across the various cities. Start with the Caffé Freddo, a light and refreshing alternative to the espresso martini. This cocktail blends lemon grappa, Cocchi Dry, coffee, and lemon tincture for a unique twist. Craving a savoury kick? The Pomodorino offers a spicy twist on the classic Bloody Mary, echoing the boldness of margaritas. A touch of chilli tincture adorns the glass, adding an exciting layer of heat to the familiar flavours. To complete your culinary adventure, pair your chosen cocktail with Frittelle di Merluzzo (salted codfish, beer, and squid ink pastella with salsa verde) or Guanciotti Di Maiale, Peperone Crusco, Piselli (braised pork cheek, crusco peppers with fresh green peas).

Basilico’s culinary programme is anchored around the communal aspect of Italian dining, which is showcased through a buffet that is always welcoming and vibrant, brimming with colourful ingredients and fresh, seasonal produce. The recently refurbished 235-seater restaurant serves a refreshed raw bar with prime seafood and fresh salad options, live grill stations with chargrilled Mediterranean-style prawns, tender cuts of sirloin and tomahawk steak, as well as a live pasta station over the weekends. For a truly decadent experience, don’t miss the restaurant’s new Romana-style pizzas, where the pizza dough is fermented for 48 hours, giving them a light and airy texture.
Explore the culinary landscape of Italy with Basilico’s boundless buffet options. Choose from the Weekday Lunch Buffet for a midday exploration of Italian flavours ($68++ per adult; $34++ per child), or indulge in the lavish Basilissimo Buffet Dinner ($98++ per adult, $49++ per child) every evening. Highlighting Basilico’s commitment to Italian authenticity and provenance, guests can indulge in the restaurant’s iconic cheese room, featuring over 50 varieties of artisanal cheeses sourced from across Italy. Cheese lovers will find a haven here, with in-house infused specials available daily for dinner and weekend brunches. From Gorgonzola with pistachio and caramel to Burrata with fresh pesto, guests will be sure to enjoy the innovative combination of flavours in cheese craftsmanship. This multifunctional space also accommodates a Chef’s Table dining for lunch or dinner.
Capture the Conviviality of Italian Culture to Perfection
Designed by renowned Japanese architect Yasuhiro Koichi of Design Studio SPIN, the restaurant’s concept was inspired by a classic Italian piazza (a public open space) and mercato (market). Basilico recently refurbished its interiors by turning one of their spaces into the snazzy Basilico Bar and restyled the four nooks surrounding the restaurant. A central area houses three open kitchens – antipasti, the hot kitchen, and pasticceria (dessert), and the centre island is a “raw bar” featuring fresh seafood, Mediterranean-style prawns, burrata, and more. Other features include a refurbished cheese room, and alfresco-style dining at the terrace overlooking the pool, capturing the spirited Italian culture to perfection.
