REMOTE Latin America has just announced that it will double its signature event in 2025. The already established REMOTE Immersion, which brings together independent luxury lodges, boats and DMCs from Latin America and the Caribbean, and high-end Travel Designers from around the world, is preparing to touch down in two captivating destinations in 2025: the breathtaking landscapes of Chapada dos Veadeiros in Brazil and the charming historic town of Antigua in Guatemala.

This expansion marks a significant milestone for the boutique travel show, as it now offers more opportunities for participants to unveil the hidden gems of Latin America, raise awareness of positive-impact luxury tourism in the region and allow more travel leaders to create thriving business connections.

Expanding horizons, maintaining Intimacy

REMOTE Latin America has earned a reputation for its exclusive, intimate gatherings that foster meaningful connections between travel designers, hoteliers and tour operators who are passionate about Latin America and believe in the region’s unique potential to host transformative, responsible experiences. By expanding to two locations, the REMOTE Immersion will continue to provide the same high-quality, personalized experience while broadening the horizons for attendees.

“We faced a dilemma because this is a very prolific moment in Latin America, and we had some incredible companies on the wait list that the world deserves to know about. Still, we recognize that our uniqueness lies in our small size and the choice of reaching off-the-beaten-path destinations. These two characteristics enable the connections made during the event to go far beyond business and generate long-lasting relationships,” explains Roberto Bitelman, director of REMOTE Latin America. “The best solution to grow without losing sight of our values was to begin offering two annual events, but at two different destinations.”

In addition to preserving its intimate atmosphere, REMOTE Immersion is committed to keeping the formula that has generated great results in the last six editions. Both events will continue following the REMOTE Way: business meetings combined with social gatherings, local immersive experiences and special moments of learning and exchange. The two editions will showcase charming lodges, boats and DMCs from all over Latin America and the Caribbean and bring together experienced travel designers from North America, Europe, Latin America and other markets, maintaining the same diversity in participants.

“Our thoughtful curatorship of companies and people also continues to be one of our fundamental pillars,” states the director of REMOTE LA, Clara Davies. “Productive and inspiring meetings are at the heart of our gatherings and they will always be a key feature of our two events,” adds Clara. REMOTE Lodgings and Local Experts are small, independent companies that work with responsible, luxury tourism at surprising, off-the-beaten-path destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean while REMOTE Travel Designers are high-end travel consultants, agencies and tour operators that work with small-scale, tailor-made, positive-impact tourism, appreciate the outdoors and have a strong interest in the region.

Antigua, Guatemala – May 19 – 22, 2025

In May of 2025, REMOTE Immersion will travel to the picturesque town of Antigua, Guatemala. Known for its well-preserved historic architecture and vibrant syncretic culture, Antigua provides a charming setting for the first edition of the year. Participants will immerse themselves in the local culture, roam the cobblestone streets, visit active volcanoes and experience the warmth and hospitality of the Guatemalan people.

Chapada dos Veadeiros, Brazil – October 20 – 23, 2025

Nestled in the heart of Brazil in the state of Goiás, Chapada dos Veadeiros is renowned for its stunning waterfalls, crystal-clear rivers and unique rock formations. It is also a place riddled in mysticism, well-being experiences and the birthplace of the largest quilombola community in Brazil, the Kalunga. Attendees will get the opportunity to connect with local people, hike through the Brazilian savanna and explore the region’s rich biodiversity.
