The highly anticipated 1923 LIVE has officially opened its doors at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, offering an exciting new destination for enthralling entertainment. Building on the success of the beloved 1923 Prohibition Bar at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, 1923 LIVE promises captivating live performances on weekends and private event bookings throughout the week.

As 1923 LIVE’s hidden speakeasy magic and comedy show, Legerdemain shuffles close-up magic with comedy and rich storytelling in a new experience performed for small audiences. One of the rarest tickets in town, the show is engaging and the audience isn’t just watching, they are part of the show. Additionally, custom cocktails are weaved into the captivating performance. The show, presented by the award-winning HKM/KDP Productions in partnership with renowned producers Adam Steck and Alex Schechter of SPI entertainment and 1923 partner Noel Bowman, is created by American magician, actor, television host and theatrical producers Jonathan Levit and Benjamin Schrader. The truly intimate experience is limited to 60 guests. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Each ticket includes two handcrafted specialty cocktails.

Later in the evening, 1923 LIVE transforms into the ultimate yacht rock destination, where guests are invited to kick back and relax with the golden era of soft rock hits from the 70s and 80s. Led by three-time Grammy Award nominee Kevin Sucher, The Docksiders – Yacht Rock Experience is the resident musical group at 1923 LIVE. From Michael McDonald to Christopher Cross and everything in between, visitors can prepare to dance the night away with smooth tunes. Attendees can also get into the spirit of the high seas by donning their best nautical attire and captain’s hats for an evening to remember. Shows take place at 8:30 p.m. on select weekends and each ticket also includes one handcrafted specialty cocktail. An “Arctic Bundle” package is also available and includes one ticket to The Docksiders – Yacht Rock Experience, one handcrafted specialty cocktail and one souvenir captain’s hat as well as entry to their sister attraction Minus5° ICEBAR, one handcrafted specialty cocktail at the ice lounge and a boozy Dole Whip treat, to-go.

On Friday and Saturday nights, after the Legerdemain show and The Docksiders perform, 1923 Live brings bayou vibes to the Las Vegas Strip with its famous New Orleans (NOLA) Nights at approximately 10 p.m., Each NOLA Night is free to enter and features live performances.

“1923 LIVE is more than just a venue – it’s a journey back in time where every detail, from the handcrafted cocktails to the immersive performances, transports you to the golden age of entertainment,” said Bowman. “We’re bringing back the magic of intimate lounge acts and hidden speakeasies, creating unforgettable nights that you won’t find anywhere else on the Strip.”

1923 LIVE occupies a large, inviting space decked out in Prohibition-style, 20s-inspired décor situated above Minus5º ICEBAR at Grand Canal Shoppes. In true speakeasy fashion, 1923 LIVE is only accessible to guests receiving secret instructions guiding them to its cleverly concealed entrance.

Beyond its public performances, 1923 LIVE also offers 6,800 square feet of flexible space for private and corporate events, accommodating groups of more than 400. The venue features a stage for live performances, a view overlooking the Grand Canal gondoliers and comprehensive audiovisual and catering capabilities, making it an ideal setting for corporate receptions, cocktail parties and more.
