In June 2024, the esteemed Denarau Golf & Racquet Club and Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course in Fiji held the 12th edition of the Sheraton Golf Classic. This prestigious tournament hosted by Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort and Sheraton Denarau Villas attracted golfers from around the globe, featuring individual competitions for amateurs and professionals, with a special emphasis on the team’s Stableford and Gross events. Australian professional golfer James Gordon triumphed once again, securing the championship title for the second consecutive year.
With a significant prize pool totaling $110,000 FJD in professional prize money and $35,000 FJD in amateur prizes, the tournament provided an exhilarating competition for both participants and spectators. Winners of the Team Stableford and Team Gross competitions were awarded a comprehensive prize package, including five nights of accommodation, encouraging them to return and defend their titles in the 2025 event.
