ESPACIO elevates traditional luxury with nine multi-room suites, each occupying an entire floor and offering complete privacy. This year, ESPACIO not only retained its Forbes Five Star recognition for both its restaurant and hotel, but for the first time Mugen was also named a AAA Five Diamond Restaurant. With this designation, ESPACIO is the only hotel to achieve Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond status for both the hotel and restaurant in the state of Hawaii.

In 2024, Mugen also reopened to the public with a rising star Executive Chef, Oahu native Colin Sato, with an emphasis on seasonality and local ingredients in an innovative, tasting menu format. The restaurant also now hosts an Infinity Wine Dinner series featuring collaborations with some of the top wineries and chefs from around the world. To accompany Mugen’s reopening, this Spring ESPACIO also introduced Afternoon Tea in collaboration with Tea Leaves and Laurent Perrier and a menu crafted by Mugen Pastry Chef Jamon Harper. Locals and guests alike can also enjoy an elevated new experience, Sunset Champagne & Caviar service, overlooking the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool and the Pacific Ocean during sunset.

For overnight guests, ESPACIO has introduced several new amenities and booking options, including a new House Tesla to be used during their stay. With the “Renew at ESPACIO” package, guests can enjoy a new way to recharge with a couples’ massage and sunset Champagne & Caviar experience with a three-night stay; or plan an epicurean escape with “ESPACIO Indulgence,” which includes a tasting menu dinner for two at Mugen, with wine pairings, and the sunset Champagne & Caviar experience.

Marking its two-year anniversary in May, Costa Rica’s premier eco-resort, Botánika Osa Peninsula, Curio Collection by Hilton, has launched a series of new programs and offerings designed to provide an unforgettable and immersive experience for guests. The resort has several new programs and updates, including the completion of a third residence tower with luxury rainforest accommodations; a signature beach club experience, including arrival by way of a scenic cruise along the serene waters of the Golfo Dulce; a new VIP Sky Club Lounge; resort activities like self-guided birdwatching from the lobby terrace, a new insect museum organized by non-profit foundation BioSur, and a fitness partnership with outdoor gear brand GORUCK. Additionally, the resort and its adventure activities partner Crocodile Bay have added a new class of jungle tour vehicles (the Talon 1000 four-seat off-road known as “The Crocodile Hunter”) to the lineup of transportation options through the rainforest.
