As Sydney gears up for the mesmerising spectacle of Vivid Sydney, Park Hyatt Sydney invites guests to indulge in a truly unforgettable experience with its exclusive Stay and Dine Package. From May 24th to June 15th, 2024, guests are able to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Vivid while enjoying luxurious accommodations and exquisite dining at one of Sydney’s most iconic hotels.

With its unparalleled views of the Sydney Opera House, Park Hyatt Sydney provides the perfect vantage point to witness the transformation of Sydney Harbour into a breathtaking display of light and color. Guests can relax and unwind on their private balcony, taking in the vibrant and magical sights of Vivid as it unfolds against the backdrop of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Stay Package

The Vivid at the Park stay package includes a two-night stay in luxurious accommodations, complete with full breakfast for up to two guests daily in The Dining Room. Guests will also enjoy the convenience of valet parking for one vehicle per day, ensuring a hassle-free experience from start to finish.

In addition, guests will receive a generous AUD350 dining credit, redeemable once per stay, to be enjoyed in any of Park Hyatt Sydney’s dining outlets. Whether indulging in contemporary Australian cuisine at The Dining Room or savouring innovative cocktails at The Bar, guests are invited to explore the hotel’s culinary offerings and elevate their Vivid experience with unforgettable dining experiences.

The Dining Room by James Viles

As a highlight of the festival, The Dining Room by James Viles will take guests on a culinary journey inspired by its colour, creativity and energy with its set menu priced from $125 per person. James Viles and Head Chef Brian O’Flaherty have together curated a menu that showcases the imaginative, seasonal, sustainable cuisine for which the restaurant is renowned, while paying homage to the spirit of Vivid.

Diners can choose from an array of spectacular dishes: from the panoply of colours and flavours in entrées such as lightly cured kingfish + cultured cream + pomelo and verde cavatelli + pecora curds + lemon + chive oil to the earthy creativity of mains such as o’connor tenderloin + unearthed mushrooms + kampot pepper sauce and the signature bbq murray cod + calamari + white beans + radish + tomato stock.

Desserts are a creative highlight of the Vivid menu, with dishes such as the valrhona 80% komontu chocolate pudding + warm chocolate mousse, exploring the different forms and textures of chocolate. The pièce de résistance is this year’s hero dessert, Crimson Spin. Embracing Vivid Sydney’s 2024 ‘Humanity’ theme, the dessert is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s helicopter drawings (brought to life by engineer Austin Prete) and Damien Hirst’s spin paintings. Delicate crimson fruit sheets draped over a refreshing bed of pineapple sorbet mirror the swirling motion of a helicopter rotor, while the colour streaks border the plate, evoking the dynamic energy of Hirst’s abstracts. Crimson Spin pays tribute to the timeless brilliance of two masterminds and sits at the intersection of art, science and culinary innovation.

To complement these masterful dishes, there is a bespoke Vivid cocktail on offer. Crafted by Head Bartender Kevin Botte, the Benevolent Bliss blends Archie Rose vodka, a touch of Mezcal Vida, house made lavender cordial and tonic, garnished with an edible flower and a vibrant flicker.
