Inside Travel Group is thrilled to announce the appointment of Amanda Highfield as the new Trade Partnerships Manager for Australia.
Boasting over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Amanda brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to her new role, with previous tenures at Wendy Wu Tours Australia and Bill Peach Journeys.
Amanda has worn many hats over the years, from leading teams at the Beijing Olympic Games to working across sales, reservations, events, and much more.
Inside Travel Group Global Trade Manager Gabo Quiros said he is excited to welcome Amanda to the Australian team, overseeing trade partnerships for sister brands, InsideJapan and InsideAsia Tours.
“The travel trade plays a pivotal role in our business strategy, and we look forward seeing the continuation of the exceptional work our trade team has delivered over the years,” Gabo said.
“We have every confidence that Amanda will inject fresh ideas, experience, insight and enthusiasm – empowering us to forge even stronger relationships with our valued trade partners.”
Amanda said that she is eager to dive back into the vibrant Australian trade market, working with a well-respected B Corp that is dedicated to creating a better and more sustainable industry.
“My passion for travel runs deep, and I cannot wait to get involved with our agents, particularly as our destinations see an ongoing increase in demand – especially Japan and South Korea,” Amanda said.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with both our longstanding partners and those yet to come on board, as we work to craft authentic cultural adventure style trips that provide real exposure into local life and culture.”
