The nation’s favourite foodie event, the Good Food & Wine Show, is thrilled to announce it has partnered with Singapore Airlines to help visitor tastebuds take flight this year.
The VIP Lounge presented by Singapore Airlines will give show visitors a taste of their premium service offering, as well as the opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle that is the show floor. Via a limited number of Business Class tickets, the Singapore Airlines VIP Lounge will provide guests with comfort and privacy, as well as a food and beverage menu inspired by the airline’s first class and business class in-flight experience.
Priority boarding (aka express entry into the show) is of course part of the experience, and once inside the VIP Lounge, show travellers will enjoy a premium culinary experience with a matched selection of quality Australian wines. Award winning chef Andrew Ballard is behind the menu taking foodies on a flight of fancy, with an in-flight inspired lunch menu allowing guests to choose from three substantial meals. Business Class tickets also include complimentary alcoholic drinks (up to five wines or beers), sparkling water, tea and coffee, plus a Good Food & Wine Show tasting glass, RIEDEL gift, and VIP cloakroom service where all purchases can be stowed until take-off back home.
James Laing, Event Director of the Good Food & Wine Show, said the show’s partnership with the airline is an exciting one for the event. “Being the national carrier of a country known for its incredible food – and a city with 55 Michelin stars for its restaurants – makes Singapore Airlines a perfect pairing for the Good Food and Wine Show. We know good food and wine, and Singapore Airlines knows how to go the extra mile to provide and exceptional food and wine experience for its guests. The synergies are fantastic, and in partnership with them, our VIP Lounge will be all (business) class.”
In addition to the VIP Lounge presented by Singapore Airlines, this year’s shows will feature:
- The much-loved Cooking Main Stage where a roster of celebrity chefs will share their secrets whilst entertaining and inspiring with recipe ideas to take away.
- The Australian Eggs Flip It Cooking Stage, where the likes of Australian MasterChef Dani Venn and food expert Jane de Graaff cook up delicious, nutritious and elevated dishes live on stage.
- The Art of Luxury Tea with Dilmah 85 Reserve, where attendees will enjoy a sensory journey through the world of luxury tea and tea terroir through a variety of engaging experiences from tea-inspired gastronomy to creatively crafted tea-infused cocktails.
- The RIEDEL Drinks Lab, where attendees can brush up on their wine knowledge while being entertained and educated by a wine expert. This event will also offer samples of a range of interesting wine varieties from different regions across Australia all available at the show
- The Wine Selectors Tasting Room will offer fun and interactive guided tastings to educate about perfect pairing, the art of wine and cheese, and more.
- The Loire Wine Experience presented by Loire Wines & Taste France explore the wines and wine making of the Loire Valley region, from terroir to sustainability and from rosés to sparkling wines and more.
Plus, the popular DrinkWise tasting tracker scratchie card is back to make staying classy fun.
