Developed under Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s Learning Academy, Melco SME Academy provides targeted training programs to support local businesses and SMEs. Programs are designed to address matters related to Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operating in a global environment and cover topics such as sustainability, work ethics, product development, food safety and hygiene. With the aim of equipping its SME partners to remain competitive and achieve scale in an increasingly evolving business environment, over 30 representatives from nearly 20 local SME businesses were recently invited to a learning workshop focused on the topic of energy conservation at Melco SME Academy.

The training offered insightful seminars delivered by Mr. Vincent Wong, Vice President, Property Services, Melco, who introduced Melco’s energy saving initiatives and carbon reduction efforts, and Mr. Deep Ao, General Manager of Tai On Environment Recycling & Regeneration Factory Ltd., who shared the benefits and latest developments in circular economy with attendees. The event also offered a business networking session, for representatives from local SMEs and Melco to meet with one another to better understand mutual business requirements and offerings, as well as identifying opportunities for collaboration.
