CATO International Womans Day.In the heart of Brisbane, at the prestigious Calile Hotel, the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) hosted its 2nd annual International Women’s Day (IWD) Luncheon, setting a new benchmark for industry events. With over 200 of the travel industry’s most influential figures in attendance, the luncheon served as a beacon of success and a testament to the indomitable spirit of women in the sector.

The theme, “Our Rising Stars,” aptly captured the essence of the day, shining a spotlight on the burgeoning talent pool of female leaders poised to take the travel industry to new heights. Under the expert moderation of Lisa Pagotto, CATO’s Vice-Chair, the panel discussion was not just a conversation but a clarion call for empowerment, innovation, and inclusivity.

CATO’s Managing Director, Brett Jardine, encapsulated the day’s sentiment, noting the luncheon’s role in “promoting diversity and inclusion within the travel industry.” His words echoed the collective aspiration of the attendees, highlighting CATO’s unwavering dedication to nurturing an environment where every contribution is valued and every voice is heard.
