For the second consecutive year, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park hosted its massive Pre-Game Mardi Gras Party, which proved to be even more fun than the previous year! The event featured an array of exciting personalities, including the iconic drag queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Maxi Shield, and internet sensation Carla from Bankstown who took to the DJ decks, keeping the energy high throughout the night, while Australian singer-songwriter, Alfie Arcuri, delivered a live performance of his latest single.
Attendees were treated to the sight of roaming drag queens and indulged in touch-ups at the INGLOT Cosmetics glitter bar before the festivities began. With its prime location on Oxford Street and front-row access to the Mardi Gras Parade starting point, Pullman Sydney Hyde Park’s exclusive event was the ultimate position for the Mardi Gras celebrations.
Throughout the night, attendees were entertained by drag queens, showgirls, and prominent LGBTQI+ figures in attendance. The culinary delights included Smoked Salmon Pate Blini with Golden Caviar, Peking Duck Pancakes with Hoisin Sauce, and an assortment of sliders, providing the perfect sustenance for a night of revelry. Complementing the delectable bites were free-flowing drinks, including sparkling, red and white wine, rosé, and beer, ensuring the celebration was nothing short of extraordinary.
