Visit USA Travel Agent TrainingAnd It’s All Great News. Yesterday in Sydney is the culmination of the Travel Agent Expos hosted by the VISIT USA Committee of Australia.

Caroline Davidson, President of Visit USA, told a collection of media and travel wholesalers that numbers for visitation to the USA again exceeded forecasts by 10%, bringing last year’s arrivals from Australia to 935,000. A remarkable result that continues to show advances. The Sydney Visit USA Expos will be the final Travel Agent Awareness Events, accomplished earlier in the week in Brisbane & Melbourne to record roll-ups.

Also speaking at the pre~event gathering under the rotunda at the Fullerton Hotel on Martin Place was Dean Long, CEO of the Australian Travel Industry Association, who touted the exceptional work being done by VISIT USA and vowing to continue the strong support of the ATTA going forward.

For over three decades, Visit USA has been providing travel agent training, incentives and on-the-ground support for American attractions, venues, hoteliers and airlines in the USA.  It continues as a not-for-profit, and the Board of Directors serves without monetary compensation.
