MastercardMastercard has become the Official Partner of Hudson Yards, heralding a new era of experiences that seamlessly blend culture, community and innovation in the heart of New York City. The Hudson Yards neighborhood on Manhattan’s West Side welcomes millions of visitors every year and is home to leading retail brands, restaurants from world-renowned chefs, dynamic cultural institutions and attractions, residences, offices, a hotel, and more. Now live, this multiyear partnership adds to Mastercard’s already expansive brand presence in NYC.

Mastercard has a rich history of partnering with some of New York City’s most iconic and innovative events and venues—all focused on getting cardholders closer to their passions, whether sports, culinary, travel or shopping. Through this partnership, Mastercard cardholders will gain special access to marquee Hudson Yards events and destinations, including its Summer Concert Series, “Sip and Shop Night” during the holiday season, and at Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. Additionally, cardholders will have access to preferred reservations and special events at Hudson Yards’ renowned restaurants including the newly co-branded Peak with Priceless and Quin Bar with Priceless.

For years, Mastercard has delivered a variety of Priceless Experiences to cardholders in New York City and other locales around the world. Exclusive Hudson Yards experiences available to cardholders and bookable on priceless.com will include*:

  • Special events and tasting experiences in the sky – A series of culinary Priceless Experiences will take place throughout the year at Hudson Yards’ famed Peak with Priceless restaurant and events space.
  • Exclusive meet and greets – Cardholders will have access to exclusive meet and greet opportunities at Hudson Yards’ Summer Concert Series.
  • Preferred table reservations – Cardholders will receive early access to reserve preferred tables at several Hudson Yards restaurants. At Peak with Priceless, every Friday and Saturday, cardholders can enjoy a three-course prix-fixe menu curated by the executive chef, complimentary welcome beverage and special dessert experience. Access to bookings is now available.
  • Sunrise at Edge – Cardholders will be able to take in Edge’s breathtaking 360-degree views of NYC one hour before it’s open to the general public. This experience is now live.
  • Express admission to edge – Every Friday starting in February, cardholders can breeze past the lines with priority lane and elevator access and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne at the top.
  • Tentpole experiences at Edge – From the Fourth of July fireworks to New Year’s Eve festivities, cardholders can gain pre-sale access to tickets for a host of special occasions.
  • Special shopping events and access – Mastercard and Hudson Yards will offer cardholders exclusive access to shopping experiences and events.

“Our focus at Mastercard is on connecting people to their passions, their purpose – and each other,” said Raja Rajamannar, Mastercard’s chief marketing and communications officer. “We’ve been privileged to work, play and partner in New York City for decades. Through our latest partnership – with the incredible Hudson Yards – we’re bringing the best of New York City, and the best of Mastercard, to more people in more ways. We’re enabling locals and travelers alike to explore their passions and this amazing place like never before.”

Mastercard has long known that shared experiences matter more than things, a truth that the pandemic brought into sharp focus for many. According to Mastercard SpendingPulse, which measures in-store and online retail sales across all forms of payment, residents and visitors spent 9.1% more experiencing New York’s restaurants last year and 5.7% more on lodging, year over year—outperforming overall retail sales growth**. This experiential renaissance underscores the enduring value of coming together and the integral role of experiences in consumers’ lives.

“Mastercard has been a prominent supporter of New York City’s tourism industry since we began our partnership in 2019,” said Fred Dixon, President and CEO of New York City Tourism + Conventions. “We congratulate them on their partnership with Hudson Yards—one of NYC’s most exciting new neighborhoods—offering special experiences to their extensive database of cardholders.”
