Honest and flavourful dishes take centre stage on Allora’s menu. Operating on a hybrid buffet-a-la-carte concept, Allora serves up comfort food with authentic Italian flair.
The newly unveiled Allora is a culinary haven, serving refreshing contemporary Italian cuisine. Slated to be the sole Italian restaurant with a buffet spread in the Changi Airport area, it will offer an exquisite weekend brunch buffet from the second quarter of 2024. Indulge in a lavish spread featuring handcrafted pizzas, artisanal pastas and a diverse array of antipasti. To elevate the experience, explore a thoughtfully curated collection of fine wines, spirits and unique cocktails for an unparalleled gastronomic adventure.
At the helm of Allora’s culinary expertise is Executive Chef Stefano Sanna, a globetrotting culinary artist with over a decade of experience. Chef Stefano harmoniously blends the flavours of both Northern and Southern Italy to curate a comprehensive Italian dining concept. Before joining Allora, Chef Stefano left his mark at Restaurant La Scala at The Sukhothai Shanghai, which was awarded the Michelin Plate 2020 within its first year of operation.
“Food must be honest and understandable, reflecting genuine passion and evoking positive sentiments for the guests. Italian cuisine, particularly beyond its borders, has to bring joy and impart an understanding of Italy. This philosophy is precisely the concept I am bringing into Allora,” said Executive Chef Stefano Sanna.
CHIC SIMPLICITY AND SOPHISTICATED DESIGN
Designed by Park + Associates, the interior of Allora seamlessly blends the industrial urban vibes of Milan with the breezy coastal charm of Southern Italy, creating a captivating narrative within its space. The Northern section draws inspiration from the enchanting terrain of Tuscany’s hills and ancient medieval cities. The heart of this section features a metallic mosaic pizza oven, adding an authentic touch to the space. Infused with the energy of Milan, industrial design elements such as the mild steel coffee bar create a dynamic atmosphere.
Conversely, the alfresco spaces, adorned with brightly striped parasols, evoke the easy-going charm of Southern coastlines. Capturing the essence of Southern Italian towns, offering a semi-casual dining lounge inspired by the vibrant intersection of business and design found in bustling Milan. Stepping outdoors, the space transforms into a seaside promenade reminiscent of colourful coastal retreats in Southern Italy. Drawing inspiration from the rugged moods of southern coastal beaches, the outdoor area provides a serene escape from the city bustle, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
Allora seamlessly transitions from vibrant day vibes to an inviting night ambience, exploring the diverse atmospheres of different Italian regions through its design. The communal seating options encourage diners to connect with each other, fostering a sense of community during their visit to Allora. With a seating capacity of 264, Allora is poised to become the go-to hangout destination in the East.
