Davis will lead guests through the enchanting cities of Tbilisi and Kutaisi, the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe, and the remote Svaneti region. Unforgettable highlights of this trip include:

City Exploration: Delve into the enthralling cities of Tbilisi and Kutaisi, where ancient history meets vibrant contemporary culture. Visit UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Jvari church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century).

Singing Workshops: Under the expert guidance of Stuart Davis, participate in singing workshops with Ialoni ensemble and Didgori, learning the intricacies of Kakhetian traditional polyphonic songs.

Cultural Immersion: Experience the grape harvest in the Kakheti wine region, taste Qvevri wine, and stay in the ‘Singing Village’ of Lakhushdi, gaining insight into local traditions and songs.

Mountain Adventures: Venture into the rugged Svaneti region, known for its highest mountains and glaciers. Spend two days in Mestia learning Svanetian polyphony, and enjoy walks around Ushguli, the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stuart Davis has been a key part of the Sydney choir scene for many years and has been leading overseas groups on singing adventures for 10 years. Previous destinations include Morocco, Cuba, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Vanuatu, Tonga, Corsica and Georgia. Stuart directs three choirs in Sydney, performs in 3 bands, and runs numerous choir workshops, including the monthly Big Heart Sing at the Sydney Opera House.
