Rosewood Bangkok celebrates the creativity and contemporary design ethos of the dynamic capital with a new art exhibition featuring local artist Arjinjonathan Arjinkit from now until January 7, 2024.
The latest in the ultra-luxury hotel’s quarterly rotating exhibitions showcasing local and international artists, “Dusk Till Dawn” explores the idea of what is the true color under different lighting. Working at night under fluorescent light to separate how properties of color differ from how the human eye sees color under natural daylight, the artist experiments with the paint to express the truth of colors.
As evident in the 12 colorful artworks on display at Rosewood Bangkok, which differ depending on the time of day and the lighting at that moment, Arjinjonathan Arjinkit is renowned for integrating conceptual ideas with a vivid color palette.
On display at Lakorn European Brasserie is a piece of Arjinkit’s artwork titled “The Atmosphere of Thai Temples”, inspired by the striking hues of Thai temples and rivers, highlighting his adept use of colors.
Experience Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy expressed through local artists with “Dusk Till Dawn” which opens from today at The Art Gallery on the 3rd floor of Rosewood Bangkok until January 7, 2024.
