This holiday season, The Langham, Gold Coast is thrilled to announce the launch of its exclusive Festive Afternoon Tea experience; a culinary celebration that captures the essence of Christmas, available from December 1st 2023.
Hosted in The Langham’s opulent Palm Court, the festive Afternoon Tea has been curated to evoke the joy and warmth of the season, boasting an array of dessert and savoury delights amidst the breath-taking backdrop of the Australian summer.
From the white mont-blanc tree to the savoury tartelette featuring Perigord duck foie gras, the menu is a combination of flavours that blends luxury with festive cheer, said Executive Pastry
Chef of The Langham, Gold Coast, Johann Vanier.
“The white mont-blanc tree dessert is a showstopper. Meticulously crafted with a vanilla exterior chocolate frosting, encasing a chestnut-flavoured mousse with blackcurrant compote, while adorned in Langham pink and gold decorative touches,” said Chef Johann.
For those with a penchant for savoury delights, guests can indulge in unique textures such as the soft goat’s curd marshmallow covered in candied walnuts and beetroot gel or savour the refined seasonal flavours of the mille feuille, crafted from Queensland mango and spanner crab, crowned with salmon roe.
The Festive Afternoon Tea will run until December 28th, with a limited number of seatings available each day and prices set at $129 per person. The tea sitting will be hosted between 2pm – 5pm daily with last sittings taking place at 4pm.
