AAT Kings and SEIT Tours have clinched top honours at the prestigious 2023 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards, cementing their standing as leaders in the travel and tourism sector. The announcement took place at a gala ceremony held at the Darwin Convention Centre on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

The Brolga Awards, the official tourism awards program for the Northern Territory, recognises and celebrates excellence in various areas of tourism operations. Winning a Brolga Award symbolises a commitment to outstanding products and services in the Northern Territory.

AAT Kings, with a rich legacy spanning over a century, took home the win in the Major Tour and Transport Operators category for the second year in a row, solidifying its position as a market leader in the Northern Territory. The company’s diverse range of tours, spanning Day Tours, Short Breaks, and Guided Holidays, caters to a wide spectrum of travellers, from budget-conscious to those seeking high-value experiences, all while prioritising culturally rich and sustainable travel.

AAT Kings operates an extensive portfolio of more than 90 tours throughout the Northern Territory, showcasing the region’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage.

SEIT Tours also had success winning in the Cultural Tourism category, specialising in interactive small group tours. Through local stories, SEIT travellers will gain a true connection to their chosen destination. With captivating and intimate experiences such as the Patji Tour in the Red Centre, they immerse travellers in hyper-local culture and history.

AAT Kings Group CEO Ben Hall said, “We were honoured to receive the Major Tour and Transport Operators and Cultural Tourism awards at the recent Brolga Awards. These accolades are a testament to AAT Kings and SEIT’s commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences, rooted in cultural richness and sustainability.”

Both AAT Kings and SEIT Tours, as Brolga Award winners, have earned the opportunity to represent the Northern Territory at the Australian Tourism Awards, further highlighting the significance of this double triumph. A month of wins for the company also comes off the back of AAT Kings being named a finalist in the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) this month.
