Bossley Bar & Restaurant, today releases its new Summer Menu, introducing a delectable range of fresh flavours alongside popular favourites. Nestled on Exhibition Street directly opposite Her Majesty’s Theatre, Bossley opened in July this year inspired by its locale in the heart of Melbourne’s theatre precinct.

Since opening, Bossley has proved popular as the perfect destination for an array of dining experiences including pre and post theatre, after work catch ups and fabulous private affairs in one of their two Private Dining Rooms.

Bossley’s new Summer Menu has been thoughtfully curated with seasonal updates such as the introduction of peach and figs, line-caught fish from Lakes Entrance and mint salsa verde. These build on the stars of the show such as the Fremantle Abrolhos grilled octopus, triple-cooked chips and Bossley’s signature Snickers-inspired dessert, a delightful combination of hazelnut ice cream, chocolate, caramel and peanuts.

Bossley Executive Chef Paul Griffiths said, “Bossley takes inspiration from Melbourne’s eclectic culture modernised to match the experience that diners are looking for today with a moody interior design, captivating menu and locally sourced produce.

“Customer feedback on our menu has been strong. It has been great to hit the mark with a modern Australian menu that is relaxed yet has the sophistication that keeps the discerning Melbourne diner returning. With the warmer weather upon us and celebrations all around, it is the perfect time to introduce summer produce like stone fruits and figs,” said Paul.

Other menu standouts include 150-day Black Angus barley fed striploin with marble score 5+ and the Bombe Alaska. Ingredients are sourced exclusively from Victorian suppliers located in regions such as Diamond Valley, Port Phillip Bay, Lockwood, the Yarra Valley and Gippsland.

Rydges Melbourne, which sits adjacent to Bossley, also re-opened in July following an extensive transformation, offering guests a captivating and refreshingly local experience.

Bossley Restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. Perfect for a pre or post-theatre beverage or bite to eat, Bossley Bar is open Mon – Wed 4pm, Thu to Sun 12pm till late.
