Viking’s Regional Explorer Sessions, as part of Viking’s 2023 Explorer Session Series, have witnessed record registration and attendance across 11 of its 16 sessions. Demand from agents and attendees has led to full capacity during many sessions, prompting Viking to schedule additional sessions across its multiple locations.
The sessions, which commenced in Ballina this October, have proven popular with travel agents, and generated strong engagement from their clients, as Viking helps. Both seasoned and new Viking travellers have indicated they seek inspiration for future journeys and information on Viking’s renowned river, ocean, and expedition voyages.
The complimentary Viking Explorer Sessions run up to three times a day at 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. These sessions offer agents and their clients the chance to connect with a Viking expert and engage with past travellers over morning tea, drinks, and canapés.
“Our regional sessions are designed to support agents by enhancing and simplifying the booking process. We share information about The Viking Way® of exploration, as well as provide travel inspiration by showcasing the destinations and immersive onshore excursions we offer. Agents can access exclusive offers for their clients who attend the sessions, encouraging bookings within 14 days of the event. It’s a great opportunity to build client relationships,” said Michelle Black, Viking ANZ Managing Director.”
In addition, Viking is offering agents an incentive to be part of the regional Explorer Sessions, with the chance to earn 800 Rewards by Viking points for every client an agent invites who then attends the session. Plus, if the client subsequently makes a booking with the agent using the exclusive offer, the agent will receive an additional $100 in Rewards by Viking points on top of their commission.
Earlier this week guests and agents attended information sessions in Bunbury, Bundaberg and Mornington, with sessions in Geelong, Gippsland, Sutherland Shire, and Tamworth scheduled from 21 November, concluding with Cairns on 30 November 2023. The two sessions in Hobart on the 16 November are fully booked.
Registration for the final sessions is essential as places are limited and are filling fast. It is recommended that agents, who register on behalf of their clients, register themselves as the preferred travel agent.
