RAKxa Integrative Wellness in Thailand has been named Best Integrative Wellness Retreat in the prestigious Spa & Wellness Awards for 2023 at a glittering ceremony in Victoria on 29 October.
The Spa & Wellness Awards recognise and celebrate the committed providers in the spa, wellness and travel industries – including the people, properties, spas, skincare and wellness brands that constantly commit to making experiences better.
Online award nominations were via Spa & Wellness Magazine, which provides a delicious mix of luxury, sustainability, accessibility and fun to its audiences, primarily in Australia and New Zealand. The judging panel comprised an advisory board of professional spa consultants and wellness experts.
Spa & Wellness Editor-in-Chief and Founder, Kris Abbey said “RAKxa won out of a selection of some of the best wellness retreats in the world and the standard was simply mind-blowing.”
“RAKxa excelled in all the award was benchmarked against – quality, sustainability, innovation and originality as well as the retreat’s attention to detail. The unique individually tailored programs, chefs working magic in the kitchen specifically creating dishes that nourish your body according to what practitioners have said you need, stunning accommodation and sustainability practices, truly make it such a special experience,” said Ms Abbey.
RAKxa Executive Vice-President of Business Strategy, Wsinee Sukjaroenkraisri said the award is “a wonderful accolade for RAKxa and terrific for all of our team who are dedicated and committed to providing personally tailored and rewarding programs for the many guests who are wishing to address special needs or simply enjoy a rejuvenating, refreshing and relaxing experience”.
“We also do want to acknowledge the amazing support of our industry partners in Australia and New Zealand in showcasing RAKxa to their markets and bringing many travellers from each destination to us each year,” said Khun Wsinee.
