Hilton LogoIn a groundbreaking move, Hilton has unveiled a duo of innovative digital solutions tailored explicitly for the lifeblood of the global economy, small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Addressing the call for a more integrated travel experience, Hilton aims to rejuvenate business travel by introducing platforms that will bridge the divide from reservation to final billing. A move that champions SMEs’ significant role, constituting a vast 85% of Hilton’s transient business clientele.

Coming to the forefront of these developments is the “Hilton for Business” platform. Currently, in its trial phase with an elite set of clients, the program is expected to have its grand global launch by the dawn of the following year. Key offerings include:

  • Exclusive Booking Portal: Tailored for SMEs, ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience.
  • Unparalleled Discounts: Membership unlocks preferential rates across Hilton’s expansive collection of 7,000+ global properties via Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app.
  • Loyalty Recognized: Firms will accrue Hilton Honors Bonus Points for enrollment and meeting specific travel benchmarks. The individual members aren’t left behind; they’ll continue to amass points during their stays.
  • Efficient Onboarding: The platform promises an easy sign-up process without tedious formalities.
  • Customizable Program Management: Business chiefs can exert total control or designate team members with distinct roles, facilitated by a user-friendly system with essential tools and resources.

Parallelly, Hilton is bolstering its events’ booking prowess through Events.Hilton.com. Catering to the surging demand for smaller-scale gatherings, SMEs can effortlessly schedule meetings or events, accommodating up to 35 individuals, sans any cumbersome contracts or telephonic negotiations. This is a boon for businesses lacking the luxury of dedicated staff or third-party intermediaries.

Reflecting on the resilience of SME travellers amidst the global pandemic, Chris Silcock, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Hilton, remarked, “Though the pandemic tested global travel, SME voyagers remained undeterred. We capitalized on this phase to attune ourselves to their unique needs, striving to obliterate existing challenges with our innovative solutions.”

Hilton’s commitment isn’t newfound. They’ve been at the vanguard for over a century, refining business travel by valuing customer feedback. In the preceding year alone, Hilton launched brands like Spark by Hilton and Project H3 by Hilton, keeping SME travellers in mind.

Endorsing “Hilton for Business”, Patrick LaCava, EVP of Operations at Syufy Enterprises, shared, “It’s a game-changer for SMEs. Not only does it ensure cost savings, but it also bestows rewards, benefiting both the individual and the enterprise.”
