The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has announced the winners of its annual Golden Target Awards program.
The awards were presented last night as over 340 industry professionals gathered at the Hilton Sydney for the 2023 National Awards Dinner.
Showcasing the best of what the public relations and communications industry has to offer were the two platinum award winners.
AAMI (part of Suncorp Group) won a platinum award for excellence in measurement and evaluation for their ‘AAMI Crash Index 2022’ campaign.
The National Campaign of the Year platinum award was given to Telstra for the launch of their Customer Experience Calls On-Shore.
Ogilvy PR won big, winning nine trophies including Gold for Large Agency of the Year. Havas Red also had a fantastic night, walking away with five trophies.
This year the Golden Target Team of the Year Awards went to:
- History Will Be Kind (Agency)
- Laing O’Rourke (Corporate)
- Green Adelaide Board (Government)
- Australian Wildlife Conservancy (NFP)
PRIA Chief Executive Officer Louise Harland-Cox said the winners demonstrated the strength and breadth of the work taking place in the industry.
“The creativity, innovation, and excellence on display at our Golden Target Awards demonstrates the influence and impact that communicators are able to achieve,” said Harland-Cox.
“A huge congratulations to not only our winners but all finalists as well – and I’d like to also thank our Chief Judge Jackie Crossman for her hard work again in delivering Australia’s most prestigious communication awards program.”
