The full list of winners can be found here.

“We are honored to once again be selected as one of the top ten resorts in Australia and the South Pacific by Condé Nast Traveler readers,” says Nanuku Resort’s General Manager, Logan Miller. “Nanuku delivers unparalleled service and exceptional experiences that align with the highest of standards in the hospitality industry. We are proud to be recognized with this prestigious award for the seventh year in a row.”

Nanuku offers a tranquil island escape, weaving barefoot luxury with rich Fijian culture on a 500-acre private estate along the coast of Fiji’s main island Viti Levu; near Pacific Harbour. With a three-kilometer private, pristine beach, the five-star luxury resort is ideal for couples, honeymooners, families, and multi-generation groups, as well as for corporate meetings, events and weddings. The property offers thirteen one and two-bedroom luxury villas that are set along a picturesque two-mile long sandy beach with spectacular views of sunrise over Beqa Lagoon. The resort’s seventeen suites also offer sweeping ocean views with some set right on the beach itself. And the exclusive six-bedroom Hilltop Residence provides panoramic views from its elevated perch above the ocean.

Nanuku stands as a top destination for those seeking a tropical oasis and provides an unmatched sustainability experience for all travelers. From coral planting, reef conservation and shore protection activities to cultural activities such as Meke dancing and Kava nights, Nanuku aims to lead the way in sustainable luxury by pioneering innovative models through its sustainability program, the Batiwai Project. The Batiwai Project features targeted initiatives that not only improve the local marine ecosystem but also maintain the resort’s minimal environmental footprint and enhance the livelihood of resort staff and local communities, all while protecting the natural settings and surroundings. Additionally, Nanuku’s dining program celebrates the incredible variety of sea life and produce found throughout the island with ingredients sourced from regional purveyors. Going above and beyond, the resort also offers activities that allow guests to learn more about the food of Fiji with experiences like the Fijian Food Safari and Warrior Cooking Classes, which include visits to a local market and nearby farm to bring back fresh Fijian produce, coconuts, breadfruit and more for a warrior-cooked Fijian meal in the evening.

The 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler’s website at cntraveler.com/rca and celebrated in the November issue.
