A new Nobu hotel and restaurant, from the Robert De Niro-backed hospitality brand, is the latest development announced for the forthcoming Caesars New Orleans. The new project is slated to open in 2024, as part of the multimillion-dollar transformation of Harrah’s New Orleans. Nobu, founded by De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, first launched as a single restaurant in New York in 1994. Since then, Nobo has blossomed into a global luxury lifestyle brand known for its unique dining experience and attracting celebrities in other major cities like Los Angeles and London.

The Lake of the Ozarks will be home to a new lakeside resort – Oasis at Lakeport. The $300 million project will be a large family resort and entertainment facility. It’s expected to open in 2024. Oasis at Lakeport will offer 25 acres of amusement rides and attractions, an indoor water park, a 26,000-square-foot conference centre, restaurants, and a 400-room Marriott hotel. The destination’s rides and attractions will include roller coasters, thrill rides, family-friendly offerings and a 20-foot-tall observation wheel.

Hoshino Resort (Nagano Prefecture), which operates luxury resort facilities throughout Japan, will open a tourist accommodation facility, KAI Okuhida, in Okuhida Onsengo, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Located at the foot of the Northern Alps, Okuhida is a hot spring town in Gifu Prefecture and one of the largest hot spring sources in the country. This destination has long been regarded as a prominent hot spring town featuring various types of onsens set against exceptional mountain views that beautifully showcase all the seasons. From KAI Okuhida, guests can take in unparalleled views of Mount Akadana from their rooms and private open-air baths or from the hotel’s bathhouse and the courtyard. In addition to access to the natural hot spring bath, separated by gender, guests will also have the option to soak in an open-air foot bath. KAI is the company’s brand of onsen ryokan in Japan. It is relatively small, with around 50 guest rooms. They plan to offer a hot spring bath with a view of the Northern Alps and a space that takes advantage of the Hida region’s advanced woodworking techniques. The scheduled opening date is the fall of 2024. This will be the company’s first foray into Gifu Prefecture.
