Further to the recent AGM and Board meeting, the Australian Cruise Association (ACA) has confirmed their Executive and Management Committees to take them into 2024.
Joining Chair, Philip Holliday (Port Authority of NSW) are Brendan Connell (Port of Brisbane) as the newly appointed Deputy Chair and James Coughlan (Shorex Australia) – Treasurer. Together they will form the new Executive Team.
Kristy Little – Tasports and Shayne Murray – Cruise Broome remain on the Management Committee and are joined by Karlie Cavanagh – Inchcape Shipping Services who was re-elected for another term, and Andrew McKinnon, South Australian Tourism Commission who joins as a new member.
Australian Cruise Association CEO, Jill Abel said “We are in a very exciting time for our industry as cruise continues to go from strength to strength. Our newly formed Executive and Management teams represent a range of organisations who can provide us with the deep expertise to take us into the future.”
“I would like to personally thank our previous Deputy Chair, Scott Lovett (Tourism Northern Territory) who has stepped down this year after serving two terms during a highly challenging time for our industry.”
“Scott provided us with excellent counsel and steered us through some particularly stormy waters. We look forward to him continuing as a trusted advisor in the Association,” Abel concluded.
