In an unprecedented move, Townsville’s hospitality scene is about to be revolutionized with the unveiling of its latest gem, Ardo, the city’s debut luxury hotel. Notably, it promises an unmatched skyline oasis, revealing North Queensland’s inaugural rooftop infinity pool.

Crowning Ardo’s towering structure, 25 meters above the pristine Coral Sea, the pool provides a surreal panorama, including the picturesque Magnetic Island. Initial visuals, hinting at Ardo’s visionary aesthetics, display a sophisticated setting adorned with terracotta sun loungers and exquisite green glass mosaic tiles.

Dubbed Ardo’s crowning glory, this rooftop haven is designed for those seeking a deluxe experience. Picture this: lounging under the tropical sun, a crafted cocktail in hand, immersed in a 180-degree breathtaking view of the vast ocean expanse.

But the luxury doesn’t stop there. While the rooftop pool remains an exclusive treat for Ardo’s guests, the public isn’t left behind. The hotel soon opens to Ardo’s Rooftop Bar, a gourmet paradise offering a fusion of handcrafted cocktails and tempting tapas. Moreover, Marmor, a world-class culinary delight specializing in steak and seafood, awaits patrons on the same elite floor.

Ardo’s visionary, CEO Michael Jones, shared his exhilarating anticipation for this venture. “As we prepare to introduce a fresh dimension of opulence to North Queensland, we believe the rooftop infinity pool and bar will redefine luxury in the tropics. With a setting overlooking the world-renowned reef system, we’re set to capture the imagination of both locals and visitors.”

There’s palpable excitement as the hotel gears up for its grand launch later this year. The much-anticipated rooftop oasis is scheduled for completion by September’s end, paving the way for eager travellers to script their tropical escapades.

The renowned Dubois architecture firm is entrusted with the $88 million project, celebrated for its visionary and pragmatic designs. David Dubois, the creative genius behind the venture, emphasized Ardo’s intricate design, “Every aspect of the hotel magnifies its splendid location. From embracing uninterrupted ocean vistas to the radiant sunsets, Ardo exemplifies architectural brilliance.”

Boasting 132 plush rooms and suites, each equipped with private balconies or courtyards, many rooms offer vistas as magnificent as the rooftop haven. Ardo’s emergence marks a significant addition to the prestigious Morris Group’s tourism repertoire, which already boasts esteemed properties like The Ville Resort-Casino and the Northern Escape Collection.
