Borgo Santo Pietro extends the season until the end of November 2023 launching holistic retreats within a selection of suites and pool houses with dedicated signature Seed to Skin treatments.
To reset the biological clocks to welcome shorter days and crisp nights and embrace the golden-hued foliage with forest walks, this autumn, Borgo Santo Pietro invites you onto a wellness experience with a full immersion in nature.
Following the launch of the mini spa heavens this season – a selection of exclusively designed Seed to Skin Tuscan in-room spa treatments, Jeanette Thottrup – founder of Borgo Santo Pietro and of Seed to Skin, extends the season until the end of November and crafts an immersive holistic experience for each and every guest of the five suites and pools suites.
Next, the comprehensive in-room spa treatment menu, these selected suites and pool houses have one dedicated signature treatment that will be exclusive and bookable in that particular room only. The well-being experiences will take place in the private gardens and terraces, as well as bathrooms. Each mini spa heaven will have a personalised setup to enhance the ultimate connection with nature, a moment of total seclusion and private regeneration within a peaceful state of mind, dedicated to one’s ultimate well-being.
Dina Ferri Pool House if after an intense summer under the sun, you want to focus on nurturing your skin. The exclusive Dina Ferri in-room-treatment starts with gentle brushing of the body in preparation for a nourishing full-body wrap based on The Devotion, followed by a relaxing massage using the purest natural oils. For an intense well-being experience, the treatment ends with a nurturing bath blended with sheep’s milk extract. In fact, The Dina Ferri Pool House is named in honour of the renowned local ‘shepherdess poet’ Dina Ferri (1908–1930), whose powerful words still evoke the spirit of the place surrounding Borgo Santo Pietro and its Tuscany.
Casa dei Fiori Bianchi Pool House if you are looking for a balance between body and mind, in harmony with the surrounding environment. White flowers represent calm, peace, and purity, and the first 10 minutes are dedicated to relaxation through breathing, preparing mind & body to fully receive the treatment. Dea Feronia Garden Suite if you want to relax and feel reborn. Dea Feronia is the goddess of the woods, spring waters, and fertility. Indeed, here is the special ritual that aims to feel like a deity by targeting the face, hands, and feet, extremities often put under stress without us even realising or giving the deserved attention. Thanks to this regenerating facial treatment and a hand and foot scrub followed by deeply nourishing wraps with The Manuka Mask, this ritual brings nourishment, brightness, and relaxation. For intense well-being, the treatment ends with a nurturing bath blended with milk and honey extracts.
Casa dell’Unicorno Garden Suite if you are looking for a magic detoxing effect. A relaxing body treatment, that deeply loosens muscles and drains liquids thanks to the use of bamboo, followed by a detoxifying facial treatment for a brighter and regenerated glow. Borgo Santo Pietro Suite if you are looking to relieve and harmonise both mind and body. Taking place on a futon, this is supported by the healing vibrations of the Tibetan bells the therapist will work with acupressure to dissolve deep sitting tensions. The ritual concludes with The Bath Therapy.
